Allison on the move...

Yesterday Allison decided she was tired of holding still.  She began rolling from back to front.  And then continued front to back.  And so on.  I guess it's time to pick up all the legos from the floor.  If that wasn't enough she also scoots forward by grabbing/pulling the carpet and kicking her legs.  Not very far, but enough to get to a close toy.  She also will lift up one arm and then kind of lurch toward that side to get some distance.  Trouble! :)

Rolly Polly

Little baby Allison who is just over 3.5 months rolled over today from belly to back.  First while no one was watching (I noticed I had left her on her stomach one minute prior) then while Aaron watched, and finally a third time for the video camera.  Nice work little lady.  And by little I mean chunky and cute.  She is for sure my chunkiest baby (which I love).  I assume the next milestone will be teeth within a week or three, but maybe back to front rolling.  We will see.

I should be fired from blogging.

Friday December 28th Allison started smiling on purpose.  A week later she was doing it more often.  Now she does it all the time and coos back at you.  It's delightful.

The day before 6 weeks she weighed 10lbs 11.6oz.

She is great and we adore her.

10.24.11 - Harmon's 3rd Birthday

All four of us lying in the kids' bed situation (two twin mattresses shoved together on the floor) trying to make the kids calm down/sleep after Harmon's super fun party.

Harmon: I love my birthday!!! Grave Digger (giant monster truck toy snuggling him), do you want to go to sleep?

Grave Digger (by Harmon in hilarious deep raspy voice): No! I don't want to sleep! I just want to go play in the playroom!

Harmon: You don't want to sleep? You just want to play??
Grave Digger: Yes! I want to get up and plaaaaaaaaaay! In the plaaaaaaaayroom!!!

Mom: Sorry Grave Digger, it's time to go to sleep now. You can play in the playroom in the morning.

Grave Digger: But I love to plaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

It probably isn't really funny unless you were there, but I wanted to write it down before I forgot it.

Early Potty Training Tease

Sammy is obsessed with the potty since Harmon goes, so I put her on before bath each night. This morning she asked to go, and actually peed! Maybe it will be easy... haha right...
